Update: Cloth Diapers 2

So I haven't updated my post about cloth diapers in a while and I have some different views now than I did back then. So here goes...

I am still in love with them. They are the best decision we have made with her so far. I have since had a problem with rashes, but that is from teething and there is apparently no getting around that, but it went away so quick I didn't even have time to worry about it. I enjoy seeing her in the cute diapers and she goes without clothes more often because of it (which she loves!)

She is now 8 months old and has been eating solids for some time now, so needless to say the diapers reek! I hate doing the laundry sometimes because of the smell, but then I remember how much money I am saving and how clean the environment is because of them. That does take the edge off quite a bit. She still doesn't mind to have her diaper change, and I don't know if that has to do with cloth or if it's just her thing, cause I have read some blogs where the mother is CDing and the baby still hates to be changed.

So, I am still an advocate for CDing and I would recommend it to anyone who is questioning the quality and validity of starting it. As a skeptic in the beginning, I know where you are coming from, but I really will say that it's changed my life and I can't wait to reuse them again and again, knowing that I am saving thousands of dollars!
